ScaleWell was built from firsthand ecommerce operating experience, not theory.
Before launching ScaleWell, I co-founded and operated Luxium, a direct-to-consumer smartwatch brand built for hardworking Americans. What started as a small ecommerce brand evolved into a multi-million dollar business powered by performance marketing, retention systems, and a deep understanding of the customer journey.
Over the years, I wasn’t just overseeing marketing from a distance, I was directly involved in building the systems behind the brand. From email and SMS strategy to creative direction, acquisition, conversion optimization, offer testing, and lifecycle marketing, I learned what it actually takes to scale an ecommerce business in a competitive environment.
As Luxium grew, retention became one of the most important drivers of the business. Through strategic email and SMS marketing, the brand generated over $1M in attributed retention revenue in less than a year, with retention channels influencing a significant portion of total store revenue. More importantly, these systems helped improve customer lifetime value, strengthen repeat purchase behavior, and make paid acquisition more efficient.
That experience ultimately became the foundation for ScaleWell.
